Hacking Love

Insight

Eharmony users know that flowery preconceived notions of love are bullshit. Lasting love isn’t caused by magic or cupid’s arrow, it happens because of psychology and interpersonal chemistry.

Idea

Finding love is really just a numbers game, and eHarmony uses algorithms to manipulate the numbers in your favor. What matters is compatibility, but romance isn’t lost in that, it’s actually enhanced.

Print

Projected Questions

In the City of Love, we’ll display large scale projections of the deeper questions in eHarmony’s user questionnaire, prompting passers by to reflect and start more intimate conversations.

Text Poetry

A bot will analyze couples’ message threads to write them a personalized love poem they can share on social.

Hacking Love demonstrates how eHarmony’s algorithmic approach boosts users’ chances of finding a truly compatible match.
